This includes improving work order response time, he said.Īdding more quality assurance checks, increasing oversightįancher said the division was recently authorized to hire three more people. “I take an unbiased view, I validate what people are telling me, make sure everything is accurate and work with them to potentially come to an agreement to make sure things are resolved,” he said.įancher said his goal for the Housing Office is to improve processes and procedures to make the living experience more enjoyable. “I am basically his chief advisor when it comes to housing issues, keeping him up to speed and bringing parties together,” he said.įancher’s role also involves mediating disputes between residents and Corvias. “Corvias is not over spending, they’re not under spending, they are doing what they need to do to ensure the project here stays viable, and more importantly, is able to be sustained years out.”įancher also serves as a liaison between Corvias and the tenants, DPW and the garrison commander. “They are always willing to cooperate, but there is always room for improvement.”įancher, who communicates with Corvias personnel daily, said one of the primary responsibilities of the Housing Office is financial review and oversight of the partnership. “I think our partner, Corvias, does a good job here,” he said. Fancher, who has served in this position since 2016, said the Army has a partnership with Corvias Military Living, the military housing division of Corvias Group.
